Transformation exercises can test a chosen value in different situations: a commitment, a conversation, and a repair. They are practice prompts, not evidence that an identity has permanently changed.
Work through these questions: Direct communication

A worked situation: Direct communication
Fictional example. A reader wants to be more direct. She tries one clear availability reply, one question about a vague request, and one correction after she gave an unrealistic deadline.
Use each exercise for a different result
The commitment exercise ends with an action and a time. The conversation exercise ends with a request that another person can answer. The repair exercise ends with an acknowledgment and a feasible correction. Do not combine all three into a declaration about your new identity. Review the actual evidence separately so that an unanswered request does not get counted as an completed agreement.
